Forty-two-year old Adam Ulrich of Boswell has been charged in connection with a fatal crash in Westmoreland County in 2019. Ulrich is accused of striking and killing Jason Zollinger, who was riding a bike along Route 30 on October 1, 2019. Ulrich returned to the scene and told officers he thought he had hit a deer. A blood draw subsequently showed the presence of Xanax, Klonopin, and methadone. Ulrich, who is free on unsecured bail, has a preliminary hearing on June 11th.
