Maryland residents on unemployment are being told to check their email. The message came from the Maryland Department of Labor after some people reported issues filing their weekly claim certification. Maryland Labor says that some people may need to re-apply for benefits to be able to file their weekly certification before Saturday. Officials are adamant that there are no issues with the BEACON system that the labor department utilizes for all of this. The bonus federal unemployment benefits will end on July 3rd.
