LAWMAKERS LOOK FOR WAYS TO HELP FOSTER KIDS

State lawmakers are looking for ways to improve the state foster care system.  There are nearly seven-thousand children in foster care across the state, and the foster parents who care for those children had their opportunity to speak about some of their concerns within the system yesterday.  Much of the talk before the committees focused on reducing the red tape and the stress foster parents must deal with.
