The Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating a mobile home fire, parked outside of a Barton residence on Temperance Row. The motor home, owned by Robert Grant Smith, Sr., sustained $4,000 in damage. Heat damage was sustained at a nearby residence and a vehicle. It is known the fire originated inside the dash on the passenger compartment. The fire was brought under control in about 10 minutes.
