MARYLAND NAACP, OTHERS IN SUPPORT OF HARRISBURG TEENS

The Maryland chapter of the NAACP and other groups are rallying in support of the four Harrisburg teens that were arrested over the weekend by Ocean City Police. Video surfaced online of Saturday’s arrest, which showed an officer placing his knee on one of the teens at least five times over an alleged vaping violation. An internal investigation into their use-of-force was launched since the video went viral. Those in Maryland that rallied yesterday say they want all the charges against the young men dropped and for the officers involved to be identified and suspended.
