The state of Maryland says nearly 3-point-2-million residents are now fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and the seven-day positivity rate has dropped to point-7-8-percent. There are 78 new cases of the virus and six additional deaths. According to the state, 167 Marylanders are hospitalized with the virus and 45 are in intensive care.
