Maryland’s Congressional delegation has announced nearly seven-point-eight-million-dollars in federal funding to expand access to COVID-19 vaccines in underserved and minority communities. The lawmakers say while the American Rescue Plan has helped to accelerate Maryland’s vaccination efforts, too many communities still face significant barriers. The federal dollars for the University of Maryland, Baltimore come from the Department of Health and Human Services.
