GOVERNOR CHEERS MARYLAND COVID-19 VACCINATION NUMBERS

Governor Larry Hogan says Maryland’s COVID-19 vaccination numbers continue to increase. As of Friday, 90-percent of Marylanders 65 and older had received at least one dose of a vaccine and the governor says getting seniors vaccinated remains one of the state’s top priorities. The governor also pointed out that nearly 73-percent of all adults are at least partially vaccinated against the virus, outpacing the national rate of about 65-percent. Overall the state has administered more than 6-point-6-million doses of vaccine with 3-point-2-million residents fully vaccinated.
