UNEMPLOYMENT RATE SLOWLY DECLINES IN PENNSYLVANIA

The Pennsylvania unemployment rate is slowly declining.  The rate from April to May dropped by point-two-percent as the state finally returns to normal.  The rate is seven-percent lower than this time last year during the height of the pandemic.  This comes as the number of residents looking for work increases.
