Former nonprofit executive and Clinton Administration official Jon Baron is running for Maryland governor. The Bethesda Democrat announced his campaign today saying he wants to focus on increasing tutoring for first and second graders and a new anti-poverty program. Baron is promising not to take any special interest or corporate cash. Seven other Democrats are running in the primary.
