MARYLAND REPORTS NO NEW COVID DEATHS FOR SECOND DAY

For the second day in a row, Maryland is reporting no new coronavirus-related deaths.  The state health department also added just 40 new confirmed cases of COVID-19, which is the second consecutive day with fewer than 50 new cases.  The news comes as the state’s seven-day positivity rate fell to a new record low of point-six-six-percent.  Also, nearly three-quarters of the state’s adult population has received at least one dose of the coronavirus vaccine.
