MARYLAND REPORTING LOW COVID METRICS

Maryland is reporting 49 new COVID-19 cases, which is the third day in a row of under 50 new cases.  After two consecutive days with no new coronavirus-related deaths, the state health department is reporting eight additional fatalities.  The latest report shows 38 coronavirus patients are in intensive care, the lowest number in nearly 15 months.  Also, the state’s seven-day COVID-19 positivity rate is down to a record low of point-six-five-percent.
