SUPREME COURT DENIES HEARING TRI-STATE ZOO APPEAL

The Supreme Court will not hear the petition of the Tri-State Zoological Park, upholding a previous Court of Appeals ruling in favor of the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, which ultimately resulted in the removal of three big cats from the zoo last year. And PETA says yet another lawsuit against the zoo is pending, to, quote, “get the dozens of animals not protected under the Endangered Species Act out of” what it called, “this hellhole.” Bob Candy, owner of Tri-State, says he plans to do what he can, and keep moving forward.
