CITY MAKES CHIEF DUNN’S RETIREMENT OFFICIAL

The Cumberland Mayor and Council have officially announced the retirement of Chief Donald Dunn, effective today. Chief Dunn has been the Fire Chief for the past 11 years and has served the city for 44 years. Until a new chief is officially selected, W. Shannon Adams has been appointed interim Fire Chief. Adams, who is also the city’s fire marshal, has been with the city for 26 years. In addition, city fireman Chuck Koelker has also retired. Koelker, who also serves as chair of Toys for Happiness, has been with the Cumberland Fire Department since 1984.
