Five West Virginia casinos are being re-licensed for another year. Despite a rough 2020, the West Virginia Lottery Commission decided the financials were strong enough to merit another year. The Lottery’s revenues were above estimates by 25-million dollars in May, bringing the 11-month fiscal year total to more than 168-million dollars above estimates.
