Former West Virginia Delegate-Elect Derrick Evans is being charged with obstruction. A federal grand jury indictment says that his activity at the Capitol on January 6th “obstructs, influences, or impedes any official proceeding” such as the Congressional certification of the 2020 Presidential election. This charge could mean he might see as much as 20 years in prison if found guilty.
