Baltimore State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby and her husband City Council President Nick Mosby no longer have a federal tax lien hanging over them. Court records show that the Mosbys paid the 45-thousand-dollar lien and the IRS issued the couple a Certificate of Release. The lien was filed to cover unpaid federal taxes for 2014 through 2016. Nick Mosby said last year he had been in ongoing discussions with the IRS for about five years about the tax consequences of an early withdrawal from his retirement savings plan.
