LAVALE BARRACK TO BE DEDICATED

The new Maryland State Police Barrack in LaVale will be dedicated on Thursday, July 22nd, and will feature remarks from Lieutenant Governor Boyd Rutherford, State Police Superintendent Woodrow Jones III, and Maryland Department of General Services Secretary Ellington Churchill. The event is open to the public; in addition to remarks, there will be a time capsule and cornerstone placement, a rededication of memorials and tours of the new facility. This year marks the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Maryland State Police.
