A man, who had sliced his own neck and throat with a knife, tried to stab a Good Samaritan who tried to help him in Somerset County. Borough Police say 32-year-old Joshua Talun was running near North Edgewood Avenue, wearing only a pair of boxer shorts and holding two soda cans and a shovel. A driver stopped to help, but Talun tried to stab him through an open window. The driver tried to drive away to avoid being stabbed, and Talun struck the side of his vehicle, damaging it.
