Sixty-year-old Piedmont resident Brian Billmyre was killed and Lonaconing resident Anthony Robert Moses was severely injured in a two-vehicle crash on Route 36 near Westernport early yesterday afternoon. Billmyre was driving a pickup truck southbound on Route 36, while Moses was operating a bus northbound. Fire and rescue units worked for approximately 30 minutes to extricate Moses from his vehicle; he was later flown to Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown for treatment of serious injuries. Route 36 was closed for about 4 hours.
