According to the CDC, the highly contagious Delta variant of COVID-19 is spreading with hospitalizations and deaths back on the rise. The Health Department is offering walk-in COVID-19 vaccinations tomorrow, from 9 a.m. to noon and from 1 to 4 p.m. In the early session, both the Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines will be offered. In the afternoon, the Pfizer vaccine will be available. As of yesterday, 40.3 per cent of Allegany County residents are fully vaccinated; across the state, 57.9 per cent of all Marylanders are fully vaccinated.
