STATE ASKING SCHOOLS FOR SPENDING PLANS

There are still nearly two dozen school districts in the state who have not submitted their plan on how they will spend federal relief money.  So far, the 35 districts who have laid out their budgetary plans say they will use the federal funds to hire more staff and more counselors to help with the in-person return.  The state is going to receive more than 760-million dollars to be split up across the 55 counties.
