Despite the financial hit many casinos took during the height of the pandemic, the West Virginia Lottery topped their sales goals for the 2020-2021 fiscal year. State Lottery Director John Myers confirmed yesterday that the total revenue was just under one-point-two billion dollars. The projected amount was 983-million dollars.
