Governor Larry Hogan is working to make broadband internet accessible for all Marylanders. Nearly 30-million-dollars has been set aside to provide grants for local internet providers. Officials are hoping that these grants will help connect thousands of Marylanders in underserved communities to the internet. Eighteen counties have projects that’ll get the financial boost thanks to the funding.
