Kearneysville resident Ronald Louis Browning has pleaded guilty to making a false statement during a firearms purchase last year. He made the statement in order to purchase a 9-mm pistol in December, 2020 in Berkeley County. He now faces up to ten years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000, the severity of which will be based on the seriousness of the offenses, and the prior criminal history, if any, of the defendant.
