HEALTH OFFICIALS REPORT 1,000 NEW COVID CASES

Health officials are reporting over one-thousand new COVID cases yesterday.  Eight COVID-related deaths were also announced.  Doctors are sayings these cases are charged by the delta variant strain and are preying on the unvaccinated.  Governor Larry Hogan said in a recent press conference the Delta strain accounts for nearly every new confirmed case in Maryland.  Fully vaccinated Marylanders only represent five-percent of those hospitalized with COVID.  So far, the state reports 79-point-three-percent of all adults in the state have received at least one dose of the vaccine.
