Maryland is reporting its highest number of COVID hospitalizations since May 13th. The state health department says 719 people with the virus are in the hospital, an increase of 21 since Monday. Overall, the state reported 847 new cases and eight new deaths. The state’s seven-day positivity rate dropped point-oh-eight-percent to four-point-89-percent. More than three-point-six Marylanders are fully vaccinated against the virus and over 80-percent of all adults have received at least one dose.
