MORRISEY’S CLOSING ARGUMENTS IN PURDUE PHARMA CASE

West Virginia’s argument in the Purdue Pharma cases has been heard by the judge.  State Attorney General Patrick Morrisey was in New York Wednesday to lay out a “couple of straightforward options” on how West Virginia should be treated after the devastation of the drug OxyContin.  West Virginia has argued all along that it is unfair to split up the four-billion-dollar settlement based on population.
