The Augusta branch of the Bank of Romney was robbed yesterday, around 12:25 p.m. Police say an unidentified man was armed with a gun during the incident. No employees or customers of the bank were injured. Augusta Elementary School was on lockdown, following reports of the robbery. The Augusta branch was closed during the investigation and will remain closed today. The drive-thru will be open. Video of the suspect was to have been released yesterday.
