A Fort Ashby man was arrested in connection with the theft of a license plate from a car in late May of this year. Aerron Mykel Whetzel was charged with theft of less than $100, tampering with a motor vehicle, and being a rogue and vagabond. Whetzel is accused of using the license plate on another vehicle. Following his arrest, he received a District Court hearing, and was later released on his own recognizance.
