MARYLAND RECORDS FEWER THAN 1,000 NEW COVID CASES

Maryland recorded fewer than one-thousand new COVID cases for a fifth day in a row on Wednesday. The Department of Health reports 717 new cases of COVID-19 and 22 additional deaths related to the virus. There are 682 people hospitalized including 10 pediatric patients.   More than 85-percent of residents 18 and older have received at least one dose of a vaccine and the state is getting closer to four-million fully vaccinated residents.  The state’s positivity rate stands at 3-point-3-6-percent.
