Following CDC approval, Governor Larry Hogan is authorizing the Moderna and Johnson & Johnson COVID booster vaccines for eligible Marylanders. He says the state’s focus has shifted from containment to maintaining immunity and the boosters may be administered immediately. To date the state has administered more than 250-thousand doses of the Pfizer booster which was approved last month.
