PA. OFFICIALS TRACKING SURGE IN COVID-19 INFECTIONS

Pennsylvania State health officials are voicing concern following a recent surge in new COVID-19 cases.  Authorities reportedly identified more than 10 thousand new cases of the virus as of last Thursday, boosting the state’s cumulative, coronavirus-related case count to 1.8 million. Meanwhile, 97 new COVID-related deaths were announced on Friday. So far, the virus has been linked to the deaths of 33,746 Pennsylvanians.
