COVID CASES CONTINUE TO RISE AMONG UNVACCINATED IN CENTRAL PENNSYLVANIA

COVID-19 cases continue to rise throughout Central Pennsylvania and experts say that’s especially so for those who have not been inoculated with a coronavirus vaccine.  Medical professionals at UPMC  are worried that COVID-19 cases could increase after people gathered over the holidays. Dr. John Goldman, an infectious disease expert at UPMC, tells WNEP-TV that nine out of ten COVID patients who get hospitalized are unvaccinated. He adds that roughly 95-percent who end up in the ICU are unvaccinated, and roughly 99-percent of those who die are unvaccinated.
