OFFICIAL DESCRIBES HELICOPTER CRASH AFTERMATH AS “ABSOLUTE MIRACLE”

“An absolute miracle.”  That’s what a top police official in the Philadelphia area said today following the crash of a medical helicopter.  Nobody suffered life-threatening injuries in the crash where an infant was being taken to a hospital in Philadelphia.  The helicopter originated from the Rider Jet Center at Hagerstown Regional Airport, and crashed around 1 p.m. in Upper Darby Township, Pennsylvania. Upper Darby Police Superintendent Timothy Bernhardt said no power lines were down and the same can be said for trees.  The crash happened near a church.
