LOCAL GROUP PROMOTING LAW PROTECTING NEWBORN BABIES WITH DONOR MILK

A Pennsylvania group advocating for a new law that would expand access to human donor milk is pushing for the measure at the state capitol.  The Protect Sick Babies Coalition gathered in Harrisburg Monday, promoting the passage of Owen’s Law.  The law works to ensure medically compromised newborns have affordable access to pasteurized donor milk.  Owen’s Law is named after a young boy who died days after he was born back in July of 2018 when donor milk could have potentially saved him.
