Eighty-nine-year-old Hagerstown resident Luray Ausherman was killed in a two vehicle accident Friday afternoon on Route 219 at Rock Lodge Road in McHenry. He was driving a 2022 Indian Scout motorcycle, when he hit the rear of a car, driven by 66-year-old Domenico Cicala. Ausherman was ejected from the motorcycle, and was flown to Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, where he later died from his injuries. Cicala refused medical treatment. The Maryland State Police was assisted by the Maryland State Highway Administration and the Deep Creek Volunteer Fire Department.
