STATE REWARDS BUSINESSES

Maryland’s economic recovery initiative is handing out the money to businesses across the state.  It’s called Project Restore and Governor Hogan announced yesterday that 376-businesses will receive a check to revitalize local retail and commercial areas.  The grants total more than 24-million-dollars and it will impact businesses in each county and Baltimore City.  More than 300 of the recipients are minority-owned while 206 are women-owned businesses.
