Governor Larry Hogan is submitting his ideas on how the next administration should spend the state’s money. Hogan has prepared a preliminary outline for the Fiscal Year 2024 budget that he will pass along to Governor-elect Wes Moore. It includes additional funding for education, money to build a new Regional Medical Center in Easton and additional police funding. Hogan made it clear that Maryland is in its best fiscal position than ever before. The Moore-Miller administration will submit the final budget to the General Assembly next month.
