The West Virginia House has passed and sent to Governor Jim Justice for his signature the Campus Self Defense Act. The Campus Self Defense Act establishes guidelines for campuses to let students carry guns. It allows anyone with a concealed carry license to carry a gun without fear of punishment by the college or university. It also keeps in place certain restrictions, including a ban on guns at most sporting events, at on-campus daycare centers and inside a student’s dorm room.
