THREE ARRESTED IN MULTI-STATE INVESTIGATION

The theft of a Frontier Communications service truck led to a multi-state investigation and the recovery of thousands of dollars worth of stolen property. West Virginia State Police were notified of the theft of a Frontier truck in Romney on March 1st. Troopers received the complaint of a second stolen truck, which was taken less than 25 miles from where the Frontier truck was taken. Cumberland City Police contacted the West Virginia State Police; the stolen GMC truck was driven by Cumberland resident Lindsey Teresi; an unknown male traveling with her fled the scene in the stolen Frontier truck at a campground west of Romney. Hampshire County deputies later found the truck at a campground west of Romney. A search warrant yielded two suspects, identified as Jonathan Church of Goldsboro, Maryland and Jarel Schaefer of Denton, Maryland. A side-by-side, trailer, generators, guns and other rifles were also found; the value of the stolen items recovered was around $70,000.
