BALTIMORE MAN ARRESTED FOR CAR THEFT

Baltimore resident Norman Earl Smith was taken into custody Sunday on an active arrest warrant. It was determined Smith did not have a valid driver’s license and the car was towed from the scene. It was later learned the vehicle was reportedly stolen from Washington, D.C. An arrest warrant was issued for his arrest. He received a District Court hearing, and was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center on $2500 bond.
