Cumberland resident Shanice Miller was charged with theft, following an incident in the 400-block of Virginia Avenue on Sunday. She allegedly concealed several items inside a bag, then left the business without paying. Officers were able to positively identify Ms. Miller through security footage. Charges were filed in Allegany County District Court, which then issued the criminal summons. She signed for her copy of the summons and was released pending trial.
