A UPMC-Altoona ER patient care technician was taken to emergency surgery after allegedly being viciously being beaten by a patient. Bradley Scott Lloyd of Tyrone was charged with multiple counts of aggravated assault, simple assault and disorderly conduct; the victim was rushed to UPMC-Presbyterian with serious head injuries. Lloyd’s bail was denied following his arrest, citing his history of violence and an arrest warrant in Missouri. He is currently in the Blair County Prison.
