FORMER POLICE CAPTAIN SENTENCED
Former Cumberland City Police Captain James Burt pled guilty to one count of misconduct in office and was sentenced to two years in prison with all but 30 days suspended. BODY PULLED FROM HAMPSHIRE COUNTY POND
There are few details, but a body was pulled from a Hampshire County pond early yesterday morning. First Responders were on the scene in the Timber Ridge Road area, near Capon Bridge. EMS crews attended to the victim, although no further information has been released.
