Totally a surprise! Many fans and celebrities definitely are not happy about this genre crossover. However it did make history!
Beyonce performed her song, “Daddy Lessons,” during the CMAs with The Dixie Chicks, which segued into their song, “Long Time Gone.” Wisely chosen considering this was their debut back into the Country music game after being out for awhile.
Both performances were a big surprise to the audience. There are mixed feelings out there all over the Twittersphere. But overall, I love all formats of music and as long as the artist gives it their all then it’s fine by me!
