PVAA Ultimate 5 Sport Competition

Saturday, April 15, 2023 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

If you’re ready for a little friendly competition, register for the Ultimate 5-Sport Competition, supporting the Potomac Valley Athletic Association and Avery’s Changeup Foundation. the competition is available to all area children, ages 4 to 14. Events will be offered for football, baseball, soccer, and cheer. Trophies will be awarded to winners in each age group for each event. Registration is just $5 per event; children can register for as many events, in as many sports as they wish. Registration is available on Eventbrite and select in-person dates will be posted on their Facebook page.

Salisbury Lenten Fish Dinners

Every Friday through April 7th

The Salisbury, Pa. VFW Post and Auxiliary #8826 are having Lenten Fish dinners every Friday, and including Good Friday. Battered haddock, two sides, cole slaw, dessert and roll. Criminal Record Expungement Clinic

The National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers is partnering with Maryland organizations to offer free advise and resources on how to expunge, clear, or seal eligible criminal records. The groups will come together to host an Allegany County Expungement Clinic on Friday, March 31, 2023 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Possibility Shop, located at 138 Baltimore Street in Cumberland. Individuals with criminal records in Maryland are invited to attend the clinic. No registration is required, and the expungement resources and services will be offered free, for those whose criminal records qualify for expungement.

Bedford County Job Fair

Wednesday, April 5, 2023 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

There will be a Job Fair on Wednesday, April 5th at the Bedford County Fairgrounds, with over 55 employers on hand. A time slot, from 9:30-10 a.m. is being reserved for veterans; the 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. slots are open to the public. W. Md. Auxiliary Police Easter Egg Hunt

Sunday April 2, 2023, from Noon to 6 p.m.

The Western Maryland Auxiliary Police will be hosting an Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday, April 2nd at Hoffman Park in Frostburg from noon to 6 p.m. The cost is just $1 for admission. this is for all ages and those with special needs. There will be games, a 50/50 drawing and much more. It will be a lot of fun, so please come out and enjoy. The are also accepting donations of eggs, prizes, and candy. Bayard VFD Easter Egg Hunt

The Bayard, West Virginia Volunteer Fire Department will hold an Easter Egg Hunt on the carnival grounds. The hunt is on Saturday, April 8, 2023, starting at noon. Bring your own basket. Eastern Garrett VFD Spaghetti Dinner

The Eastern Garrett Volunteer Fire Department will hold its monthly spaghetti dinner on Saturday, April 8, from 3 to 7 p.m. The dinner will feature their own, homemade spaghetti sauce, featuring B & B Country Meats of Frostburg, homemade Italian bread from Lorenzo’s Bakery of Frostburg. Tossed Salad, coffee or iced tea. In March, 850 dinners were served.

Bedford Road VFD Easter Bunny Breakfast

The Bedford Road Volunteer Fire Department is having an Easter Bunny Breakfast on Saturday, April 8th, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. There’s a donation of $7 per person; kids under three years old, are free.
