COMMISSIONERS POSTPONE BI-WEEKLY MEETING TO ENCOURAGE OTHERS TO STAY HOME

The Board of County Commissioners of Allegany County announced today the postponement of their bi-weekly public business meeting that was originally scheduled for April 9, 2020. Recognizing both Governor Larry Hogan’s Stay at Home order and statements made by President Trump regarding the necessity to stay home this week, the Commissioners are taking this time to lead by example and to further urge all Allegany County citizens to do the same.

The County continues to also update its resource page for businesses and for the community at-large with the latest in information regarding the COVID-19 pandemic. Citizens are encouraged to visit: http://resources.inallegany.org.
