Plagued with “glitches” this past weekend, the Maryland unemployment application website is back online, after it was taken down Sunday for repairs. The website crashed almost immediately when it went online Friday. Even with the glitches fixed, the vendor told labor officials it could not guarantee there would be no further technical difficulties. The vendor “continues to work to resolve errors as they arise,” according to a spokesman for the Governor’s Office. Over 50,000 new claims have been made on the website.
