This past weekend saw three more Allegany County deaths from coronavirus complications; a total of 12 people have died. The latest fatalities included a female community member, a male resident at the Cumberland Healthcare Center, and a female community member who had recently been released from the facility. All three head underlying medical conditions. In addition, the Allegany County Health Department reported that a resident of the Sterling Frostburg Village has tested positive for COVID-19. A staff member at that facility had previously tested positive for the virus.
